I wanted to tell the story of opening day for Little League., but the rain has put a stop to that. I help coach a Minor league baseball team. The name is one I could live without (Red Sox) I am a Oakland A's fan, I could of added to my sports wardrobe, if we were the A's. Oh well Just a small bitch.

I am happy to coach Little League, even if I do not have a boy on the team. My nephew is on the team and his Dad is the Coach/Manager. As coaches we have never thought of drafting a team to win the whole thing. We believe in teaching the boys baseball and giving them confidences for later on in life. I know, that has never been done before, but yes we are trying.

We asked the boys what position they played last year: Pitch? no answer, Infield? no answer Outfield? All the hands go UP. What kind of crap is that. The coaches from last year have failed these boys miserably. How can you keep a kid int he outfield for a whole season. That just sucks.

The boys are doing great, they listen well, and want to excel for us. We can not ask for anything more.
