Funerals are only for those who did not die. So on that thought, if I make a will and ask to be cremated, and my wife and kid want to have a burial plot to go visit, who should get their way?

I will not be around to disapprove and I do not want them to feel guilty if they do not honor my wishes. So should I not put my request to be cremated in the will?

I agree, that would be a great idea.

I think my best bet would be place in my wil the stipulation: I will be placed in a urn and on a shelf over the bed in the master bedroom.

That way if she gets married or has a boyfriend. I will be there as a constant reminder.
