Little league is going great. THe best part is getting the boys to understand their position. Not just nod their head to stop me from yelling at them. but nodding their head to say "no problem, I got it" There is a different glint in their eyes when that happens.
I now know to NEVER judge a player by his looks. And you have to play them in a game to see the size of their hearts. The smile that is created when a simple pop fly is caught, is hard to repilicate and stays on that boys face for a whole inning.. The dejection on the face, after dropping an easy out is harder to wipe off. Those are the moment you can judge the size of a 10 year olds heart.
The Team is 1-7. But we have some bright spots. (12 of them)
